Scott's obituary
Scott G. May, 64
With profound sadness and deep love, we announce the passing of Scott G. May, who left this world at the age of 64 after a courageous battle with multiple myeloma. Diagnosed in 2020, Scott faced every day with unwavering strength, positivity, and a fierce determination to live life fully.
Scott was an outgoing spirit—full of energy, laughter, and kindness. He was a beloved father to Misty May and Zach May, and a proud grandfather to Taylor Soto. He is survived by his brother, Bruce May, and wife, Stephanie May.
Scott was preceded in death by his parents, Gloria and James May, and his sister, Lu Ann Wells.
A gifted drummer with a lifelong love for music, Scott found peace behind the drum set and joy in sharing rhythm with others. He was equally at home in the stillness of the outdoors—whether camping under the stars or hiking along a trail, nature was his refuge.
Throughout his journey, Scott never lost his light. He inspired those around him not only with his courage, but with his ability to keep smiling, keep going, and keep loving. His vibrant spirit, warm heart, and unforgettable presence will be deeply missed.
In his memory, the family encourages everyone to take a moment to enjoy the outdoors, play a favorite song, or simply embrace the people you love—just as Scott always did.
