Scott William Hembd

Left this earth November 29, 2020.

Too soon for any who knew and loved him.

Scott was born October 15,1951 to Roy and Pat Hembd in Roxbury, Massachusetts, the fourth of eight children.

He lived in North Miami Beach,New Port Richey, Aripeka, Miami, Miramar, Plantation and Hudson,Florida. He loved Florida and the last 16 years living in Beacon Woods, where he married Deborah back in June 26,1976.

He treasured every moment with his family. Scott had a quiet confidence about him and was patient, kind intelligent sarcastic and handsome. Was a great cook, avid reader, orchid grower, loved fishing, golf, crossword puzzles. He had diverse musical taste.(opera classical, musicals, blues, jazz and rock)

He had a very successful restaurant career with Corkys, Howard Johnson and Wendy’s.

Scott is survived by his wife Deborah, daughters Claire Hembd, and Audrey Tyler, son-in-law Rob Tyler, grandsons Benjamin, Holden, and Lucas and a large extended family and friends .
