I remember so vividly my first time visiting Texas, with Hunter inviting me to call in to Scott's beautiful home to meet him and see Amanda. From the first moment I shook his hand he was so gracious and kind, immediately asking me about my life in Australia and my travels that led me to the USA. Then he invited me out the back for a glass of whisky and a cigar whilst he, I and Hunter talked about all the things I had to do while in town. All said he was a great man, with the world being a lesser place without him here. My sincere condolences from myself and the rest of the McKinley family here in Sydney, Australia.

My heartfelt condolences to all of Scott's family and friends. It was 2020 when I was fortunate to meet the great man and his lovely wife Patricia. Generosity would be an understatement when Scott handled over his keys to his motorcycle to a complete Australian stranger, without hesitation, to ride with his son in law, Hunter on an adventure.

Upon returning to Dallas, I was delighted to cook for Scott, Patricia, Hunter and Amanda in their home and I remember fondly, Scott's keen interest and conversation whilst I prepared the meal and his attentive nature whilst we cooked dinner together. We ate like Kings and Queens and it was a wonderful evening. After dinner, Scott and I swapped notes on the passion for life, including his rowing machine, where we had a strong connection. Scott oozed enthusiasm to learn, which speaks volumes for a man and could rip the machine in a way that was most impressive. His attitude to life and his love and pride for his family was so present.

Albeit one brief evening, but testiment to a great man who will be missed dearly.
