Scott's obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Scott Fothergill, a man of remarkable spirit and boundless love. Born on June 20, 1970, Scott lived a vibrant and full life until his untimely departure on December 5, 2025.

Scott was known for his fun, compassionate, generous, spontaneous and loving nature. His infectious laughter and radiant smile could light up even the darkest of rooms. His generosity knew no bounds, and he instilled in all of us an appreciation for spontaneous joy and compassion. His love was felt by everyone who was fortunate to have had him as part of their lives.

Scott leaves behind a loving family deeply saddened by his loss. He is survived by his sisters, Rachel Fothergill, Stephanie Stewart, and Bryna Crabb, and brothers, Jeffery and Eric Fothergill. His father, Bryn Fothergill, deeply mourns the loss of a caring son.

Scott's loving legacy continues in his sons, Ryan and Andrew Fothergill. In them, his spirit lives on, mirroring their father's love for life, his generosity, and his infectious joy. His memory will forever be engraved in their hearts.

As we bid Scott farewell, we take comfort in knowing that his love, spirit, and laughter will continue to echo in our lives, touching our hearts with sweet reminiscences. His memory will forever be a beacon of light, guiding us with love and warmth. Rest in peace, Scott Fothergill. Your spirit lives on.
