Scott's obituary

Scott Philip Dussing, 40, of Fort Worth TX died unexpectedly at home October 21st 2021. We are all deeply saddened by his loss.

Scott was born on May 5th 1981 to William P. Dussing & Janet G Dussing in San Antonio TX. He was the middle child of 3, and quickly began to undoubtedly stand out being the only blonde sandwiched in-between two red heads. Growing up, Scott continued to stand out by excelling at all activities he put effort into; playing select soccer, Trombone, bass guitar, varsity football, and staying strong as a freaking ox in the gym. After graduating from Colleyville Heritage HS in 1999, Scott enlisted in the US Army January 2000.

During his time in the Army, Scott went on to achieve various awards/Medals/Badges including, but not limited to, the Army Achievement Medal, Expert Marksmanship Badge, Expert Infantry Badge, Parachute Badge, RANGER Tab, Yemeni Parachute Badge, Jordanian Parachute Badge. Scott was released from active duty Honorably in 2003. After Scott's military service, he began his studies first attending the University of Maryland where he would complete a Bachelors Degree in Finance 2008. After taking a few years off, Scott would later attend the prestigious University of Oxford in 2012, completing his Masters of Science in Program Management 2014.

Anyone who knew Scott, knew that he was a man more than willing to do anything for anyone he cared about, and his family and friends will miss him more than words can say.

Scott is survived by two beautiful daughters Olivia and Madeleine Dussing of McLean Virginia, Mother Janet Dussing of Fort Worth, Step-mother Hilary Dussing of Colorado Springs, Sister Ann Dussing of Waxahachie TX, Brother James Dussing of Flower Mound, Sister in law Katie Dussing of Flower Mound, Nephew David Dussing of Roanoke, Nieces Ava & Cora Hunter belonging to Ann Dussing, Nephews Harrison & Wyatt Dussing belonging to James & Katie Dussing.

Scott was predeceased by his father William P. Dussing, and brother in law Shaun Hunter.

Scott's Memorial service will be held on Monday January 3rd, 2022 at 3:15pm, at the Dallas Fort Worth National Commentary.
