We offer our sincere condolences to the Dorrington family. Our prayers are with Patrick, Sean, Jerry and the rest of his loved ones during this difficult time.

Matthew 5:3-10

3 “Blessed are the poor in spirit,

for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

4 Blessed are those who mourn,

for they will be comforted.

5 Blessed are the meek,

for they will inherit the earth.

6 Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,

for they will be filled.

7 Blessed are the merciful,

for they will be shown mercy.

8 Blessed are the pure in heart,

for they will see God.

9 Blessed are the peacemakers,

for they will be called children of God.

10 Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness,

for theirs is the kingdom of heaven."

Dear Sean, pat, Jerry, and the family,

I hope this letter finds you and your family well, although I know that these are difficult times for all of us. I was deeply heartbroken to hear about the passing of our beloved cousin, Scott Dorrington. It is truly devastating news, and I can't begin to imagine the pain and sorrow you and your family must be feeling right now.

Scott's untimely departure has left a void in our lives that can never be filled. He was a remarkable person, full of life, laughter, and kindness. His infectious smile and warm personality made him a joy to be around, and he touched the lives of everyone he met.

I fondly remember the countless childhood memories we shared with Scott. Whether it was summers spent by the lake, playful family gatherings, or simply enjoying each other's company, Scott always had a way of making those moments special. His adventurous spirit and positive outlook on life were truly inspiring.

During this difficult time, please know that you are not alone. Our entire family is here to support you in any way we can. Scott's memory will forever live on in our hearts, and we will cherish the time we had with him.

While it is difficult to find solace in these circumstances, I hope you can find some comfort in the fact that Scott's beautiful soul enriched the lives of so many people. His legacy will continue to shine brightly, as we remember his love, laughter, and the impact he had on all of us.

Please take care of yourself and your family during this grieving process. Remember to lean on us for support whenever you need it, and know that we are here to listen, comfort, and offer whatever help we can provide.

Once again, I offer my deepest condolences to you and the entire family. May Scott's soul rest in eternal peace, and may you find strength and healing in the midst of this profound loss.

With heartfelt sympathy and love,

Daniel Harvey

You, dear cousin, will be greatly missed. Yet, I find solace in knowing that you are now with your mom and others who have gone before us. Your presence here was and is deeply cherished, and we eagerly await the day we'll reunite on the other side. Cherish those legs, give your mom a break, greet everyone there with a smile, and keep a watchful eye on us from above. Your family here needs you now more than ever, buddy. Until we meet again, always be our Scotty. - April Scott and Family

My condolences to Scott's family. I first met Scott when in elementary school. It wasn't until I was 15 that Scott stole my heart. Our young relationship might have been brief but the bond we built was strong and will be in my heart forever. The moments we shared in the rehab facility, just hanging out or riding around his truck are memories I treasure. One of my favorite memories, at 16 Scott, Esther and I ventured to the mall. I believe it was his first outing. It was exciting and made me so proud to watch him constantly beat the odds.Nothing could slow that man down and I looked up to him for that. I love Scott and Esther and miss them terribly.

I remember meeting Scott for the first time, he shot hoops with me outside our home. He truly was so loving  and willing to play with his younger cousin! I’ll always hold onto this memory. Wish we had more time with Scott ❤️
