Scott's obituary

With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Scott Burnette on September 18, 2025. Scott was born on February 27, 1970, and during his precious 55 years of life, radiated warmth, love, and kindness to all those who were blessed to know him.

Remembered by many for his unwavering devotion, Scott's legacy lives on through his three wonderful children - Robbie, Sarah, and Katie. Scott always imparted to them the importance of expressing their love for their loved ones. He was proud of his children and considered them his greatest accomplishment. We hold fast to the belief that he is with them, guiding and loving them from afar, much like the protective and loving figure he was in life.

Scott is survived by his children Robbie, Sarah, and Katie, as well as his sisters Sherry Snow and Kristen Reed. His memory will be cherished by his many loving nieces, nephews, and siblings who mourn his untimely passing. His mother, Karen Reed, and brother, Jeff Burnette, and Matt Burnette predeceased him. His love, laughter, and memories will fortify us in the days to come.

A man of diverse interests, Scott found solace and inspiration in The Bible, his favorite book. He was a passionate enthusiast of music, particularly of the bands Journey and Queensryche. An avid fan of the Denver Broncos, he also enjoyed live band performances and the TV show National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. He also loved making music and working on cars, activities that brought him great satisfaction. His favorite local spots were the beautiful mountains in Colorado Springs, where he often retreated to for serenity and reflection.

Scott was a kind and loving person, always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. His light will forever shine in our hearts and minds, reminding us of the love he gave, lessons he taught, and the enduring strength of his spirit. We pray that he is now at peace with Jesus, savoring the tranquility he so endearingly deserves.

We love and adore you, Scotty. Your presence will be solemnly missed, but your spirit, kindness, and love will forever be remembered and cherished. Rest in peace.
