Scott's obituary
Scott was an amiable man and was known for his sense of humor, contagious laughter, more often a result of his own jokes, and love of all food and beer.
Scott was a scientist and naturalist who loved all living creatures. He enjoyed deep sea diving, fostering reptiles and amphibians, and travel.
Scott served as Water Quality Manger Pueblo of Sandia in Albuquerque New Mexico for over 20 years and protected the reservation's environment, including parts of the Rio Grande, through the application of sound science. He completed wetland rehabilitation projects, improved water quality, and helped preserve endangered species. He was President of the New Mexico Herpetological Association and enjoyed presenting educational programs about reptiles and amphibians.
Scott is survived by his wife Rebecca and son Logan of Albuquerque NM, his mother Dolores of St. Petersburg Fl, and his sisters Janine of Portland OR and Christa of St. Petersburg FL. Scott will be buried at sea as in accordance with his wishes and his love of marine life.
Scott and Steve Martin shared a goal. The goal was to be the all-being master of time, space and dimension. Scott was not able to meet this goal on Earth, but he has in our hearts and memories . We love you, Scott, and thanks for being a part of our lives.
Memorial contributions may be made to the New Mexico Herpetological Society.
