Scott Bennigsdorf, beloved son, brother, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away June 13, 2023 at the age of 71.

Born to Norma Jean Elliott and Ervin William Bennigsdorf, Scott grew up in Colorado Springs before making his home in Iowa, where he spent most of his life. He was the proud owner of Scott’s Auto Body in Spencer, Iowa, where his skill, dedication, and artistry earned him a reputation for excellence.

Scott had a lifelong love for creativity—whether through painting, drawing, or any form of art, he poured his heart into every project. His greatest passion, however, was motorcycles. He loved the freedom of the open road and the brotherhood that came with it.

Scott is survived by his children, Amber Bennigsdorf, Shawn Bennigsdorf, and his grandchildren, Isabel Bennigsdorf, Juan Aldava, Addison Isadore, Austin Isadore, and Aria Waggoner; his brother, Tracy Bennigsdorf; and his sisters, Colleen (Lutes) and Carlene (Hanley).

He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
