Scot Jones, born July 22, 1964, in Sidney, Ohio, passed away leaving behind a legacy of warmth, humor, and quiet strength. A loving father, devoted son, brother, and loyal friend, Scot lived his life with a gentle spirit and a strong sense of kindness that touched everyone who knew him.

He is survived by his beloved daughter, Elizabeth, who was the light of his life; his mother, Karen; and his siblings Melissa, Joe, Kevin, and Theresa, who will forever cherish his memory.

Scot had a deep love for life’s simple pleasures — spending time with his dogs, casting a line on peaceful fishing trips, and enjoying a good drink with good company. His stories, laughter, and generous heart will be missed dearly by all who were fortunate enough to know him.

In a final act of compassion and generosity, Scot chose to follow in his father’s footsteps by donating his body to science, continuing to help others even after his passing.

There are no plans for funeral services at this time.
