Sarah Wilkinson, my life partner for the past 8 wonderful years...where to begin. Beautiful, intelligent, friendly... Sarah loved to take walks, to listen to Classical and Classic Rock music (I always teased her about a affinity for cheesy Eagles songs) and to watch crime procedural television shows and films. Sarah was complex: individualized but curious about others; very precise about food and routines--Sarah was famous in my family for being able to go to bed BEFORE the sun went down and sleep a hard nine or ten hours. And simply put, Sarah was the best teacher I ever observed. Sarah excelled in high school at Indian Hill and continued as a history/English major, before landing at Walnut Hills High School in 2000 where her career took off, teaching 9th grade English, Modern History and particularly Art History. The testimonies from students, parents and teachers speak for themselves: Sarah separated herself with an extreme work ethic and a drive to not deny the students of every teachable moment.
Finally, on a personal note, Sarah brought the same love, the same determination, the same give of commitment and generosity to me and my family. She left us too soon, but not without leaving behind gifts. Rest at peace, my love. Brian
