Sarah Spina, a beloved mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away peacefully on September 17, 2025. Born on May 25, 1955, Sarah lived a life filled with love, resilience, and a deep sense of community.  

A loving daughter to the late Alvin Wendes and Anna Wendes (nee Wharton), Sarah is survived by her cherished daughter Fran Kruk (Michael) and her adored grandchildren, Vincent, Madison and Raymond Their memories of Sarah’s warm heart and loving spirit will keep her legacy alive for generations to come.

Sarah is also survived by her dear sisters, Carla Davis (nee Wendes)  and Elizabeth Kunz (nee Brightmore)  who will fondly remember her humor and kindness. These traits, among countless others, left a deep and lasting impact on their lives and the lives of everyone she touched.

Throughout her life, Sarah exemplified strength, love, and compassion. She was a light in every life she touched, and her memory will be cherished by those whose lives she touched so deeply. Her passing leaves a void in many hearts, yet we find comfort in knowing her spirit lives on in those she loved.

While there is sadness in her passing, there is joy in knowing that Sarah is now at peace.  She will be missed by all who knew her and loved her.
