Sarah's obituary

Sarah Marie Pelletier

Sarah Pelletier, age 25, passed away, unexpectedly on December 14, 2021 at Missoula’s St. Patrick’s Hospital, of pneumonia, after a life-long battle with Myotonic Muscular Dystrophy. Sarah was born in Dillon, Montana on January 22, 1996 to Lee and Dianne Pelletier. Sarah attended the Dillon School System and graduated from BCHS in 2014.

Sarah, despite her handicap, lived life to its fullest. Everyday was an adventure. Sarah loved to wake up every morning and plan her day. Sarah never had a bad day. She was always happy and never negative and loved life. She was always looking ahead to what was next. Sarah was honets to a fault (she never could keep a secret). She loved her computer, her phone, Facebook, texting and especially camping and boating on the Sarah Marie (her boat). Sarah was an avid shopper; you most likely saw her around town (possibly at self-checkout). Sarah loved to shop in Dillon, Idaho Falls, Bozeman, Missoula, and especially Amazon. Sarah was a regular customer at Hair Care Unlimited, she loved her beauty treatments (thank you, Joy).

We would like to thank the community for all the love and support they gave Sarah, especially her angels (you know who you are). Sarah’s many angels made life interesting and fun for her. They spent time texting, talking, playing games, shopping and taking her to lunch. She loved her specialty coffees, and getting sodas at Diary Queen and McDonalds. Sarah also loved the McDonalds hashbrowns and the Sausage McMuffin without egg. We offer a heartfelt thanks to all those who waited upon her.

Sarah is preceded in death by her beloved grandparents: Mel and Rella Pelletier and Darlene Ansley.

Sarah is survived by her father and mother, Lee and Dianne Pelletier, her sister Hailee Pelletier, her grandfather Charles Ansley, her uncles and aunts, Roger and Caryn Pelletier, Jacnite and Bill McCullough, Betty and Don McNett, Cindy and Brian Christoferson, Kim and Collin Korich, John and Elizabeth Ansley and many cousins and friends.

Sarah’s cremation has taken place. Her memorial service will be Saturday, January 1 at 3:00 PM, at the Beaverhead County High School, B.W. Lodge Gymnasium. Per Sarah’s request masks are required and sitting in family groups and social distancing, will be observed. The family would like to give special thanks to Doctors: Beaver, Hunt, Thomas, Blake, Wilson, and Smith, and Emergency Room doctors: Moore, Murray, Clark, and Potter. In her lifetime, Sarah spent over two hundred nights in various hospitals. A special thanks to all the nurses and hospital personnel throughout the years. Donations can made in Sarah’s name to the American Lung Association and the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Sarah’s wish was see all people vaccinated so everyone could be safe. Sarah rest and in peace, and please text me back right now
