Columbus, Georgia - Mrs Sarah Lloyd , 54, of Columbus, GA passed Monday, April 18, 2022 in Lanett,Al.

Funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. EST Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at Mt. Mariah Baptist Church, Phenix City, AL with Rev. W.G. Perkins, pastor, officiating. Interment to follow in Green Acres Cemetery, Columbus, GA. Visitation will be Monday, April 25, 2022 from 1-5 p.m. EST according to Taylor Funeral Home, Inc.

Mrs Lloyd was born March 12 1968 in  Phenix City, AL to the late Mack Griggs, Sr. and the late Annie Bell Griggs. She worked as a Medical Assistant for New Horizon and was a member of Mt. Mariah Baptist Church.

Survivors include her lifelong partner Jimmy Lloyd Carlise, her son Derrick Dawson, Jr.; brother, Mack Griggs, Jr.; sister, Vickie Griggs; stepson Willie Carlisle; stepdaughter April Carlisle seven nieces, six nephews, one devoted friend, Mashell (Marcus) Jones and a host of other relatives and friends.
