So sad to hear of Sarah’s passing. We shared so many years and life events together. From attending nursing school together to St Joseph Church, working together at the VA hospital , going on a mission trip to Honduras, and our daughters Irish dance trips for years—-Sarah and I had so many memories it’s hard to count them. What a giant hole in my heart…her gifts to this world included her love for family and friends, traditions, music, caring for the sick, her faithful leadership, and most of all: her intuition. Sarah had AMAZING and insightful intuition. She just knew certain things about people and situations that always seemed to come to light at some point—she was gifted with that type of insight.
One more huge part of my life with Sarah: Running the St Joseph Fish Fry nights in Fayetteville during Lent. We’d joke every year, and even beyond our Fish Fry days…”time to soak the fish”!
I can’t begin to express how deeply Sarah will be missed by so many. My heart goes out to Jo and the rest of Sarah’s family.
In love, Lisa Watroba Brown (Jim, Jade, and Jacob)
