Sarah's obituary

In Loving Memory of Sarah Ann

November 6, 1969 – June 17, 2025

With a heavy heart, I announce the passing of Sarah Davidson who left this world on June 17, 2025.

Sarah was a quiet, thoughtful soul who found deep joy in the simple things: the companionship of animals, the beauty of plants, and the comfort of a good movie — especially her favorite, The Holiday. She had a special way of noticing the small wonders in life and a laugh that, though soft, could brighten up a room when it found its way out.

Though naturally shy, Sarah possessed a warmth and depth that touched those lucky enough to know her. Her kindness ran deep. She was a woman who felt things profoundly, even when words didn’t always come easily.

Sarah faced many hardships throughout her life, including a long battle with alcoholism. She struggled, she fought, and she kept going — always with quiet strength. Her story was not defined by her struggles, but by her resilience, her tenderness, and her ability to find beauty amid difficulty.

She had lost touch with many of her friends over the years but she was often curious about them and perhaps too shy to reach out and re-connect. It would be so meaningful to her to know that we will be gathering in her honor to celebrate her life.

Sarah is survived by her beloved son, Keef, whom she loved fiercely and unconditionally. He was her greatest source of pride and joy.

Her life was one of complexity, courage, and quiet grace. Sarah will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever held in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Thank you for loving Sarah.

Love, Jennifer
