Sara's obituary

Our Beloved, Dear Beauty, Sara Guadalupe Winn, passed away peacefully, surrounded by God and his Angels, as they carried her into heavenly glory, as her family and friends gave her comfort,  at her home in Washington Utah on the early Morning of July 20th 2025, after a eight year courageous battle against Cancer.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  Our Dear Sara was born on January 24th, 1952 in Torrance California to her parents Santos and Sara Calderon. Sara was the 14th sibling, and when she was born her mother had "run out of names for her daughter Sara" so her family called her "Junior".  Sara is survived by her Husband Paul of nineteen years, along with her remaining siblings Brother George, and Sisters Gloria and Rosalie.  Sara is also survived by three daughters, Regina, Sussette and Terri, and one son Jason, along with numerous Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren who she all loved so very much.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                Sara was very proud to be a Banning Pilot of the class of 1970, and was also very proud of growing up in Wilmington  California,  After completing High school, Sara worked at Rohr Aerospace in Riverside California building Jet Engine fan shrouds and electronic soldering for Aircraft equipment, as well as having a 20 year career with  Kmart  distribution in Ontario CA, where she retired from in 2006.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                         In early January 2006 Sara was married on the southern edge of the Grand Canyon,  at Grandeur Point, to her husband Paul, along with family and friends  attending the beautiful event with all family and friends riding together on the historic Grand Canyon Railway, and soon after, they both began a life together living in southern Utah. Together they traveled across the USA on fun filled road trips, as well as many Ocean cruises to Hawaii, Alaska and Mexico.  She loved to hike for many miles and was a "Shutterbug" with her Sony Camera at endless locations to get just the right picture. Sara also enjoyed working on her garden at her home with her "Mexican Petunias" which produced a beautiful Purple Trumpet flower each day! This and of course shopping at Charming Charlie's for just that perfect pair of shoes and purse, as Sara was an Amazing  dresser, and always "dressed to impress" and always made a statement as to her Beauty whenever she entered a room.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 Sara also loved dancing to the oldies anywhere and anytime, which always brought out her beautiful smile. She also loved restoring Cars with her husband Paul and together won many awards for their hard work, and she was also a member of the Desert Rodders Car Club. And if that wasn't enough to keep her busy,, Sara was also a tier 4 Pickleball player, and She Brought her Game to each and every time, and also gave free fencing lessons, that is, putting other opposite players into the chain link fence with her pickleball serves and return shots!                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    A Celebration of Sara's life will happen in the near future with an upcoming announcement.

Sara , before her passing, wanted to say this to all family and friends who knew her so well, and loved her so very much........
