Sara Wheeler passed away after a short battle with cancer. Always up for a good time, Sara's infectious cackle and sense of humor could turn even the most mundane moment into riotous laughter. As a child she often travelled with her grandparents cross country; as an adult she loved travelling the state of Texas, especially with her sister and cousin. She particularly enjoyed the various cook-offs and festivals at which members of her family were participants. Sara loved a good glass of wine, her beloved cats, and the yearly family gathering known as  Wheeler Fest. She will be greatly missed by those that loved her. We are certain she is saving us all a seat at The Dusty Boot, ready again for a good time. 

Sara is survived by her daughter Jessica Hallmark; Granddaughter Ellie Whited; Cousin Ann Traynor-Plowman; Niece’s and Nephew Courtney Lewis, Ashley Vidrine, Scotty Vidrine.

Sister Laura Wheeler Butler was proceeded in death with parents Cheryl Wheeler, Bill Wheeler. 

A Celebration of life will be held in memory for Sara Wheeler in the beginning of June more details will be released soon.
