Sara Beth Gregg, 53, of West Springfield, VA died peacefully with her husband at her side on Wednesday October 23, 2024. Born March 11, 1971, in St. Paul, MN, she was the daughter of Paul Nyhuis and Gayle (Madison) Nyhuis of Cottage Grove, MN.

Sara was a graduate of Minnehaha Academy, class of 1989 and was also a graduate of North Park College (1993) and the Washington University in St. Louis Physical Therapy Program (1996). Sara worked as a physical therapist for five years before becoming a full-time mom and homemaker.

Sara was known for her kind heart, dependability, and practicality. You could always count on her to appraise a situation and lend a helping hand exactly where it was needed. Sara enjoyed volunteering, interior decorating, organizing, and visiting national parks. Above all, Sara cherished her daughters. She loved spending time with her loved ones, creating precious memories. Her kind spirit and unwavering love and support will be dearly missed.

Survivors include her husband of 27 years, Scott Gregg, of West Springfield, VA whom she married on May 25, 1997; children Kendra Gregg and Krista Gregg; parents Paul and Gayle Nyhuis; sister Jennifer Reid and her husband John.
