Sara De La Sota - Alvarez ‘La Tia’
Born on March20, 1926 in Cardenas, Cuba to Enrique and Juana De La Sota, passed peacefully at home in North Bergen, NJ surrounded by family. Immigrating to the United States in 1967 she settled in West New York, NJ. She then married Hipolito Pedro, had a son, Peter and worked at various local businesses. Retiring from Al’s Bargainland ‘El Huequito’, she enjoyed life in retirement by traveling, spending time with her family and especially her grandson Tyler.
She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Hipolito Pedro, her son Peter and his wife Maryanne, her grandson Tyler, her dear niece Marisela Calvo, her nephew Frank De La Sota and a large extended family.
Rest in Peace.
