Santiago's obituary

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Santiago "BooBoo" Veronica, who left us peacefully on November 2, 2023. Born on September 21, 2022, BooBoo, as everyone referred to him, only spent a brief year with us but left a lasting impact in the hearts of his loved ones. Despite his preference for his given name, Santiago, his playful and cheerful nature won him the affectionate nickname, BooBoo.

BooBoo is survived by his loving mother, Jasmine Veronica, his caring step-father, Kevin H., and his adoring brothers; Marco V., Nathan H., and Aiden H. The close bond between them was undeniable and his presence will be sorely missed.

During his short time with us, Santiago graced us with moments of joy that we will forever cherish. On May 31, 2023, he started his mobility journey by learning to crawl. Little BooBoo took his first steps on September 1, 2023, a memory that still warms our hearts. And we can never forget his first word, a milestone he achieved in 2023, a testament to his lovable and playful personality. BooBoo’s joys of life were simple, but they were the essence of his happiness. His favorite food was Hot Cheetos and his drink of choice was Coke. As long as there was music playing, he was content.

His favorite TV show and performances to watch were ABC, and he loved being around all his brothers. BooBoo’s favorite movie was Kung Fu Panda, and his favorite game was Peek a boo. Whether it was his first haircut or the appearance of his first teeth, every new experience was a story worth telling.

As we mourn BooBoo's passing, we remember the special place he holds in our lives. His legacy of love will remain with us forever. A fund has been set up for "Help with Funeral Expensive", and contributions can be made at https://everloved.com/life-of…. His life was a brief gift to us all, and we will miss him dearly.

BooBoo's personality was vibrant, full of laughter and joy. He was more than just lovable and cheerful; he was a symbol of immense love. He taught us all how to love unconditionally and enjoy every moment those of life. His greatest accomplishments were learning to walk and talk, milestones that he achieved with a beam of pride and joy. His legacy will be his love, one that he shared with everyone he encountered and one that will remain in our hearts forever.
