Sandy's obituary

Sandy R. Arthurton, 50, of Tobyhanna, passed away Friday morning, March 27, 2020 at St. Luke’s
Hospital, Bethlehem.

Born in Manhattan, New York on October 7, 1969, she was a daughter of the late Lillie Futrell and
Rudolph Arthurton of Raleigh, North Carolina.

Sandy was educated in the New York City School system and was currently employed as a commodities
transaction management unit manager at Standard Chartered Bank, Newark, New Jersey. She was very
outgoing and loved physical fitness and dancing. Sandy also enjoyed gardening and taking long walks.

Preceding her in death was her beloved mother, Lillie Futrell on April 17, 2016.

Surviving in addition to her father, Rudolph Arthurton; is her daughters, Jaasmine Calliste and Leah
Jones, both of Tobyhanna; sons, Lee Jones and Jordan Smith, both also of Tobyhanna; brothers, Rudolph
Arthurton and his wife, Stacy, of Tamaqua, Quentin Futrell and his wife, Marita, of Conway, North
Carolina, Delroy Arthurton and his wife, Johanna, of Bronx, New York; two grandchildren: David and Kayla
Medina; nieces, nephews, and a host of extended family members.

Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Yanac Funeral & Cremation Service, Inc. 35 Sterling Road,
