Background
After Mom had a bad fall in Jan 2024 she needed to be Hospitalized. Shortly after she became so weak that she couldn't eat or barely move, therefore unable to return to her apartment at Emerald Springs Senior Living.
I was able to coordinate with Hospice to find her a room at Dignity Home Care. They all looked after her with the utmost care and respect. Mom had a private room that we filled with her photos and personal things to make it her own.
Hospice jumped into action to help with transport, medication, spiritual & physical care, coordinating with caregivers, myself and my dad. Armondo also personally assisted my dad with physical errands. They provided grief counselling for my dad as well.
I'm eternally grateful to this organization for all the support and kindness they showed my mother and family during this very difficult time.
Another Charity that was near and dear to mom's heart was Bonner General Health's Healing Garden.
It's a very special place that has offered our family solace.
It's a meaningful place where we can have space to reflect and honour the lives of loved ones. Some of their names have been added to the wall. Sandy's name will join those who are forever loved and missed. Contribute to Bonner General Hospital Foundation
