Sandra's obituary

Sandra “Sandy” L. Ream 82, of York, PA passed away on January 13th, 2025.

Sandy was born on November 20th, 1942, and was the daughter of Raymond J. and Romaine E. (Miller) Ream. Sandy was known for her strong will and unwavering determination. She was a big personality in a small package, to say the least. Her wit was razor sharp and she was known to say the most shocking things. She will forever be known for the endless love she had for family. Sandy’s generosity knew no bounds. She was a loving mother and grandmother, who dedicated her life to raising her five children along with two of her grandchildren. She supported us through the many highs and lows of life. She was an expert at playing Solitaire and enjoyed reading romance books. Her favorite pick me up was an ice-cold Mountain Dew. Moments spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren are what she cherished most.

She was preceded in death by her ex-husband and best friend, Richard, and five of her siblings. Her brothers Terry, Barry, James and William and her sister Betty.

She is survived by her two sisters, Linda and Joanne, her four sons Dennis, Roger and wife Tina, Ronald, Todd and wife Dawn, her daughter Lori, her grandchildren Elizabeth, Christopher, Katie, Rodger Jr, Tara, Shane and Adrienne. Along with many great grandchildren.

To honor Sandy’s wishes, there will be no funeral services.

She will be missed by so many. Although we are filled with great sadness that she is no longer here with us in physical form, we are grateful she is no longer suffering.

Let us find solace in knowing her spirit will live on through all the love she instilled in us.
