Sandra Angela Rampaul of Lake Villa, Illinois entered into eternal rest on February 21st, 2022 at home surrounded by her loving family. Sandra lost her six-month battle with pancreatic cancer. She was born June 8, 1956, in Kingston Jamaica to Vinnette and the late Joseph. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her brother Merrick.

She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Alvin, her daughters Candice, Crystal, and Cathryn, her grandchildren Anya, Davin, Lily, Antonio, and Tristan, and by her siblings Yvonne, Wesley, and Carol. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Sandra was affectionately called Sandy, mommy, and nana. She took pride in providing a loving home for her husband and her daughters and anyone in need of a comforting place to stay which was always decorated for the season. Sandra was passionate about her career and was always a great support to her co-workers. She exuded positivity with a smile that would light up a room. In her early career as an art teacher and a professional artist she enjoyed traditional Mother’s Day gardening, preparing for her favorite holiday with detailed Christmas decorations, and a yearly beach holiday in the hot Jamaican sun.

She will be fondly remembered and truly missed by all who knew and loved her.
