Sandra's obituary
She was born to parents Jim Murphy and Naidine Murphy, on 09/16/1946 in City of Detroit, Michigan.
She graduated from Harding High School.
She went on to study Major-Early Childhood Education Minor - Art & History at Appalachian State.
She enjoyed cooking and was always wanting to try a new recipe. She enjoyed baking especially around the holidays. Sandra loved to read a good book. She loved her Pets-Bo Bo, Sadie & Abby who absolutely loved her and wanted to be with her always until she passed away a couple weeks prior to Sandra's death,
She enjoyed her Grandchildren Kelli Propst and husband Ryan who she said could fix anything. David and wife Stefanie who reside in Germany, the Great Grandbabies who she was known as "MiMi" that she absolutely adored and they adored her are Triston, Rylan, Taylor Belle and Kiahley Faith were a joy to her always, and lending a helping hand to her even if she didn't need it.
Sandra is survived by her son Peter McMichen and wife Lauri, Sisters-Rita Montgomery and husband Ron, Nanette Benvegnu and husband Joe, Brother-Gale Murphy and wife Marietta, Seven Nieces and Nephews and a Great Niece and Nephew.
She was preceded in death by her parents James Murphy, Naidine Murphy
Memorial Service for Sandra will be held at Unity Baptist Church 1005 East Catawba St
Belmont, NC 28012 at 3:00 PM on Saturday January 18, 2020
