Sandra's obituary

Sandra Kay Mclntire went to be with our lord on Sunday July 28, 2024. She had suffered with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease for many, many years. Sandy was born June 9, 1944 in Tucson, Arizona. When she passed, she was 80 years old. Sandy had worked for Circle K Corporation for about thirty years as a store manager and later as a District Manager. Prior to Circle K she had worked for IBM. She enjoyed people and very much enjoyed helping people. She always liked getting things done a certain way. Sandy was a strong-willed person. Sandra had great joy in being a sister, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was also an aunt, cousin and friend to many. Sandra was preceded in death by her two husbands, Donald D. Hofferber Sr. (dod 1995) and Gary E. Mclntire (m1977-1996). She too had lost her three brothers, Billy R. Jones, Charles E. Jones, and James Richard Jones. Also, her daughter Sandra (Sandy) D. Gillespie (Hofferber) and son Edward (Eddie) A. Mclntire. Sandy is survived by her brother Stephen J. (Stevie) Kovach, son Donald D. Hofferber Jr., daughter Paula (Francisco) Rodriguez (Hofferber) and son in law Jeffry A. Gillespie. Also, grandchildren Amanda R. Vanbuskirk, Kathleen M. Blackburn, Tiffany K. (Jonathan) Arteaga (Gillespie) and Charlene K. (Nate) Gillespie. Timothy Kingery-Hofferber, Matthew (Marie) Kingery- Hofferber, Paul A. Rodriguez and Madysen L. Mclntire. She leaves behind twelve Great Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Sandy will be dearly missed by all.
