My grandma wasn’t my grandma by blood, she took me in as her own when I was 4. I’ve been best friends with her bio granddaughter for over 30 years. Sandra was the only grandmother I had growing up that I saw on a regular basis because my grandmothers lived far away. She was kind and loving and did everything for everyone else without even blinking. I remember sleep overs in abundance and shopping days and watching movies in the back yard. She was always there for a hug and some banter no matter the reason. Her car was the first manual I ever drove, and she let me drive all the time. She taught us unconditional love and respect. She will forever be missed. Life isn’t the same without her. Love you Grammy. So glad you’re with grandpa and out of pain.
