San was not only my cousin and not only my Moms Niece, she would come down to our house and take care of sick puppies, kittys, but also nurse and care for any of my moms plants that weren’t doing so well.

Her knowledge of anything that grew in the grown or any kind of animal was such a gift that we got to experience . She was also my moms (Jennie Newell) confidant.  They could and would talk to each other about anything through tears or laughter. They are together again and that is so comforting.
