Whether you knew her as Sandra, Sandy, or San, you knew of her love for animals. Beginning early in her life, she owned and rode horses and later worked with racehorses on the track as well as night watching brood mares at Briarwood, a thoroughbred farm. Sandy was the cat lady during another era, breeding Rag Dolls, keeping many and selling some. Most recently, San bred and sold miniature dachshunds to the delight of owners …
