Sandra Lynn Mitchell Fike, 58, of  San Antonio, TX, passed away on December 29, 2022, surrounded by her family in her own home.

Sandra, born on October 2, 1964 to Edna Mae Petrosky Mitchell in San Antonio Tx. immediately brought joy into her mother’s world. Sandra went on to graduate from McCollum High School in 1983 where she attended Pacesetters and Yearbook Club. After graduating from high school, Sandra went on to pursue a career as a CNA and later on became a PCA where she ultimately ended up taking care of her own mother. In 1989 she met Daniel Fike while working part time at a bar on the south side of San Antonio and the two were inseparable from that point on. Sandra and Daniel were married for over 32 years and had 3 children, James Michael Perkins, Crystal Rhae Perkins and Stephanie Dawn Fike. They also took in two other children, Brandon Douglas Fike and Breanna Perkins. Sandra was a fiercely dedicated mom to all of her children, raising all 5 of them to go on to accomplish great things. Family came first and was above all else to Sandra, a value she instilled in all those around her. Sandra’s love for cooking and keeping a home is something else she instilled in her children. Thanksgiving was a huge event in Sandra’s home. She would prepare days beforehand and then stay up late at night cooking and preparing for the big day. Thanksgiving was always a day full of love and food and laughter and of course The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. The hole left by her absence is impossible to fill. Sandra was predeceased by Edna Mae Mitchell, Martin Dominguez, Sharon Nutter, and many more. She is survived by her husband Daniel, their children, and 9 grandchildren.
