Sandra E. "Sandy" Nelson (nee Edwards) passed away peacefully on Friday, February 4, 2022 at the age of 75.  Born in Bristol, Pa., daughter of the late Leslie and Lorraine Edwards, she brought joy and laughter to everyone who knew her.

Sandy graduated from Delhaas High School in 1964.  After graduating, she worked her way from candy striper to LPN at Delaware Valley Medical Center until 1983.  At this time, Sandy moved with her sons to Levittown, Pa. working at Robroy Industries until her diagnosis with multiple sclerosis in 1992.  She relocated to Lakeland, Fl. under doctor's advice, until 1996 when she returned to Levittown to assume her favorite role as Grammy.  She worked at Mealey's Furniture for 12 more years.

Sandy is preceded in death by her beloved brother, William Edwards.  She is survived by her sons, Joseph Nelson (Samantha) and Matthew Nelson (Gina).  She will be greatly missed by her four grandchildren, Alexander (Kristen), Shane, Brett, and Brian.  Sandy is also survived by her beloved brother, Jack, best friend and sister-in-law, Edna Mae, many nieces, nephews, and close friends.     

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Alzheimer's Association honoring her memory.  A private Celebration of Life service is being held on February 20, 2022.
