Sandra Beth Cowley, age 82, passed away on September 7, 2023 at home surrounded by those who loved her. Sandra was born on October 16, 1940 in Center, Texas to William and Mary Brown. She is survived by her daughters Allison Gilbert, with husband Michael, Carol Bostian, with husband Clay, sister Nelda Tyler, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Kent Cowley and her son Don Cowley, her brothers Roger, Tommy and Johnny Brown, and her parents.

Sandra was many things throughout her life. Stay-at-home mom, President of the PTA, member of the Garden Club, car pool driver, and booster club member. She also traveled and worked with her husband on many of his jobs, some that took them out of the country. She enjoyed family, gospel music, making new friends anywhere imaginable and sitting on the porch watching the hummingbirds.

Sandra leaves behind numerous family, friends, and friends to be that she hadn’t made yet. She will be dearly missed by all. A memorial service will be held at the First Baptist Church, 1015 N Hwy 155, Big Sandy, TX at 1:00 pm, October 7, 2023.
