Sandra was an awesome human whom I always loved and admired, right from the first time Uncle Derek introduced her to us. She was my Aunt, but was only a few years older than me so was always more of a friend than an Aunt. Back in South Africa we swapped baby stories as we had our first children within a few years of each other. Tarryn was my beautiful little flower girl and Dylan is my godson. Dylan and Marc, my first born, were born exactly 2 years apart on 26th May. Residing in different states after we all emigrated to Australia meant we saw very little of each other over these last years, however we remained in regular contact on line and by phone.

Sandra was a totally gorgeous person, ethical and upstanding and incredibly generous of spirit. She never complained about her struggles with her health over the years and I know she fought right to the very end. 

You are much loved Sandra and will be missed always by your family in Brisbane ❤️
