Our beloved mother, sister, friend, Sandra Benson entered into God’s Kingdom on January 28, 2022 after a short battle with Dementia/ Alzheimer’s Disease.

Sandra was born to George and Cathleen Lodge on November 18, 1972 in Boston Massachusetts . When Sandra was younger, her favorite activities were reading, writing, dancing, singing, and listening to James brown . She attended University of Florida and graduated with a degree in Engineering . After graduating, she moved to Gainesville Florida and pursued a career in the Army.

In [1996], Sandra met Henry Benson, a match truly made in heaven. Sandra & Henry went on to have 1 child, Andre. Sandra was a loyal servant to God, first and foremost. She loved the church and loved sharing the love and warmth of our savior, Jesus Christ, with as many people as possible. She was a part of the women’s ministry at New Hope Baptist Church.

Sandra joins Her mother Cathleen Lodge, Her father Henry Lodge, and her bother Luke Lodge in Heaven. She is survived by many loving family members, including her grandchildren, Andre, Dante, Kayleb, Diamond, Drew, Faith, Joy, Elijah, Noah, Olivia, and Gizelle .
