On September 23, 2025, our family said goodbye to our mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend — Sandi Lamb Whisnant.

Born December 6, 1958, Sandi lived a life marked by strength, independence, and unwavering loyalty to those she loved. She wore many hats in her lifetime: nurse, educator, church volunteer, PTO leader, and above all, mom and “Nana.” Her family was her heart, and her love for her grandchildren — Daniel, Finis, Braxton, and Theo — shone brightly in everything she did.

She is survived by her daughters, Natalie Barroso (Carlos) and Allison Doyle (Travis); her stepson, Jonathan Whisnant (Samantha); her mother and stepfather, Brenda and Herbert Brielbeck; her siblings, Jim Lamb (Terri) and Susan Schroll (Paul) and her grandchildren.

Sandi was the kind of woman who stood her ground, gave selflessly, and lived her faith out loud. Her wisdom, humor, and fierce love will remain in the lives of all who knew her.

Gatherings to celebrate her life are yet to be scheduled.
