Samuel Troman, Austin, Texas, passed away in the line of duty on January 17, 2018. Born on December 1, 1986, Samuel lived his life with unwavering optimism and a passion to push forward that reached everyone. He was a firefighter for Austin Fire Dept  for many years until his recent passing, fighting to save a young woman’s life, who was inside of a flaming building. Unfortunately, neither survived the blaze.

His memory lives on in the heart of his beloved wife, Kristina Balsing, who cherished him deeply, and his daughters Loralie Troman and Dallas-Saylor Troman. He additionally was outlived by his mother, Donna Troman, who raised him in Dallas, Texas. Samuel had 1 brother, Aaron Troman, who passed in 2006. 

Samuel grew up in Dallas, Texas, and attended Plano East Senior High, a graduate of 2004.  Samuel was a dedicated friend, father, and a loyal companion. His kindness towards others will forever be remembered.
