Samuel's obituary
Samuel C. Salcedo, 29, of Barberton, died Thursday, December 28, 2023 at Akron General Medical Center.
He was born November 11, 1994 to Mark Salcedo and Becky (Denning) Zelesnik and has lived in the Barberton/Akron area since returning from California in 2017.
Sam graduated from Palm Springs High School in California in the class of 2013 and attended College of the Desert following graduation. He was employed by Campopiano Roofing Company in Twinsburg the last few years and found true friends in his coworkers.
Sam was adventurous, fun-loving, caring, and charismatic. Amongst his greatest joys were his daughters, Isabella and Elaina. He loved spending time with his family especially the holidays and playing cards at family events. He was active in fitness, enjoyed sports and jet skiing. He had a dream of owning a Harley Davidson motorcycle one day.
Surviving are his parents, mother, Becky (Jason) Zelesnik; father, Mark Salcedo; daughters, Isabella Salcedo and Elaina Cassell sisters, Kylie (Joe) Harazim and Kasmin Zelesnik; girlfriend, Jessica Cassell and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Gayle and Bobby Denning and grandmother, Patricia Salcedo.
A celebration of life will take place Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at 6:30 p.m. at Auble-Gillman Funeral Home, 360 W. Sunset Dr., Rittman with Pastor Don E. Bolich officiating.
Friends may call from 5 to 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, January 10 at the funeral home.
