Samuel Patterson, 86, of Pikesville, Maryland, passed away peacefully on November 4, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

Sam was born on May 11, 1939, to Samuel and AnnaMae Patterson in Jefferson, South Carolina. He met the love of his life, Beverly Patterson, and they married in 1968. Together they raised three children — Tonya, Casanya (Candy), and Raheim (Jason).

Samuel was a force of nature, determined to provide for his family and give them the life he felt they deserved. His family meant more to him than anything else in the world, something he often expressed with pride and love. He was endlessly proud of his children and his six grandchildren — Justin, Jaylen, Joshua, Josiah, Jordyn, and Jayla — and always did his best to support and encourage them.

Samuel was also passionate about music, sports, and shopping, and could often be found exploring local thrift stores when he wasn’t at home. Those who knew Samuel knew he was the most loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather a family could ever ask for.

He was predeceased by his parents and siblings, and is survived by his beloved wife, children, and grandchildren.

The family requests that all flowers and notes be sent to Harmony Funeral Home in Brooklyn, New York. A Celebration of Life will be held at Harmony Funeral Home on November 14, 2025, at 9:30 a.m.
