Bro. Sam, I met you about 25 years ago. You were one of the people I've met in my life that I could really call Christian. You were gentle, humane and spiritual. You were also a pastors' pastor. We served in the same NCCF exco together, and I know your significant worth.

Your sudden death was too unexpected. But we surrender to God Who owns us. There have been testimonies that you are home with the Lord. This is a huge comfort to us as we didn't so much expect less.

I pray for comfort to your wife and children. I pray they will not feel your absence too much, not because you no longer mean much, but because God Whose friend you were, comforts them.

Adieu. We meet in Heaven at the feet of our Master, Jesus.

Kunle Adedigba, Evangelism and Bible Study Secretary (2nd Tier), Nigerian Christian Corpers' Fellowship, Ogun State, 1999/2000

25th years ago  you showed me the know how in Ogun. You have always been there when I needed help in my assignment. You stood by me to see that I make no mistake. It's hard to believe that you have gone to be with the Lord our Lord which you served faithfully. REST ON GOD'S GENERAL. we shall meet some day at the master feet.
We know this world 🌍 is nothing but the illusion, yet we want to stay a bit longer. But when God calls us, we know that the time has come to wake up on the other side.

Though unexpected and really quiet early, we know Uncle Sam has escaped this illusion we call earth, and has gone ahead of us. Our consolation is that when we all wake up on the other side, we shall see again and that would be for ever.

He lived a life of sacrifice, of love and of genuine friendship. I can never forget that and I am genuinely grateful.

The news of the passing into glory of our most cherished Orkar was received with a great shock indeed. Our brother was a caring, loving and understanding leader who doubled as both secretary and counselor during our service year. Dear brother, though we miss you physically, we know you lives on. You didn't just die, no, no, no, you just woke up from this world of dreams into your real life and existence before our Lord and Saviour. May your gentle soul continue to rest in the Lord's bosom. To Orkar's wife and family, know for sure that your husband and father lives now in the realm of the spiritual and l believe he just went to watch over you all. Take heart and move on the Almighty God console and guide you all. May His righteous glorious hands keep upholding you. Amen. From: Pst Melody Ik Eneje (Orkar's service set)

Bye and bye when the LORD Returns and the Saints are gathered Home the story of How you overcame will be resounding... Sleep well Bro Sam...
Uncle Sam, you came, you saw and you conqured. Thank God for a life well spent for God. We pray that the seeds you sowed in people's life will grow and yield multiples. God will give the family you left the fortitude to bear your absence.

Beloved uncle Sam,

It's still like a dream to come to terms with your departure from this earthly realm. I can vividly recall the memories of botherly love we shared together especially in the NCCF family house. Your ever radiant face, smiles, humility and passion for the kingdom business, cannot be acurately captured with words.

All your life, energy, resources and time, were given for the Master and His cause, even till your last moments on earth. It is not how long we live but how impactful. Surely, your live impacted many positively and your legacies will not be forgotten.

May God console your dear wife and children and supernaturally fill the vacuum left by your exit.

I will miss you and look forward to  embracing you on the resurrection morning by His grace.

Rest in peace.

Uncle Sam is still hard for me to believe you're gone but who are we to question God  ,He did as it pleases him. Till resurrection morning we will meet to path no more.

Adieu uncle.

Sis Ngozi

Uncle Sam rest well and God be with the family you left behind, it is well, till we meet again at the resurrection morning.
Dear Brother Sam, your passing is a big blow. Hmmmm, I am indeed shocked and sad at the same time. You are a man of faith, a lover of our Lord and saviour, Jesus Christ and I respect you for it. Your personality radiated the expression of Gods kingdom.  You will be missed here on earth. I pray the Good Lord keep your family and all you ever desired for them as a good father,  will be accomplished in Jesus Christ name. Amen.

Beloved brother, this is tough and so saddened , but Rest well in the bosom of the Lord until the resurrection morning when we shall see and part no more.

May the Lord come continue to comfort, keep, preserve your wife and the Children. , and indeed the entire Okar family, And also the NCCF and CAPRO Families.

Uncle Sam and I,  alongside many others served in Ogun state in 1999. He was one of the excos - Uncle Sam as we all called him. I've always known him to be passionate about the things of God. He would cheerfully do everything! that needed to be done. Even after many years when technology brought us back together on our whatsapp platform, he would send prayers and well wishes my end. It was a rude shock honestly to hear he's now with the Lord. I questioned God for taking such a General in his army so soon. I dont have answers but I know if Uncle Sam could respond to me, it would be Let's trust God. I'm going to hold on to the great memories God allowed us to have and trust Him to keep everyone till that glorious day when we shall see one another. I'm going to trust God to keep sister Evelyn and their children. All will be well through the love of Christ our saviour. Amen
