Samuel John Mannino tragically and unexpectedly passed away on March 21st, 2025 from a heart attack. Sam was born and raised in Long Island, NY and went to Smithtown High School in Smithtown, NY. He went to Oswego University where he majored in creative writing, however he found his true passion working in the kitchen. Sam was a talented chef, with advanced culinary knowledge and a hard work ethic and pleasant demeanor made him a General Manager for Ruby Tuesday's South Florida at just 25 yr old. Sam was troubled by a nearly lifelong battle with psoriatic arthritis that stopped him from working full time and it wasn't until recently that he was really able to use his skills again by volunteering to cook at church. He actively served his community by volunteering for gun violence prevention and gun safety legislation and giving his time at the homeless shelter every Sunday. Sam was the most kind and giving person, he was gentle and honest and he is dearly missed by his loving fiance Jessica Veltri and many close friends and family members. Sam loved people and loved to serve people, in his honor we ask that you love people more and serve people more.💖
