Background
Sam's daughter, Rosie, is a beautiful and gifted 4-year-old. Her laughter is contagious. Her smile is warming. Her zeal is inspiring. She is unique. She is very intelligent. She loves talking about God. She asks deep questions about life.
On the morning of Sam's death, Rosie brought a picture of an angel to her grandmother and said "This is the angel God sent me this morning."
Sam was an adventurous spirit, a gifted athlete, and a loving father. He had a fierce love for his daughter, Rosie, which he wore as a badge of honor. Yet, Sam's life was a journey through peaks and valleys. He battled demons, faced health crises, and endured unimaginable loss. Still, he strove to be better, to rise above his circumstances, and most importantly, to be a good father to his little girl.
Today, we aim to honor Sam’s memory by securing a bright future for Rosie. A future where Rosie can thrive, pursue her dreams, and achieve her full potential.
We are asking for your support to establish Rosie's Education Fund. This GoFundMe campaign will fund a 529 college savings account in Rosie's name, providing for her education and offering her a stepping stone to success.
As we remember Sam, we share a plea - to love those struggling with addiction, to extend our compassion, and to acknowledge that it's through our collective efforts that we can bring about change. In honoring Sam’s memory, we are reminded of the strength of community, the power of love, and the endurance of the human spirit.
Join us in investing in Rosie's future and honoring Sam's memory. Your generosity can change the course of her life.
