Born on April 26, 1960, in Amman, Jordan, Sameer drew his last breath on November 9, 2024, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Known fondly as Sam, he was deeply connected to his Palestinian heritage and Islamic faith, always carrying his roots close to his heart.

A kind-hearted soul, Sameer touched the lives of those around him with his unwavering positivity, infectious smile, and gentle strength. He leaves behind his beloved son, Haitham Abdel-Rahman, who will carry forward his legacy of love, kindness, and faith. Sameer’s impact on those he encountered will live on through the compassion and wisdom he shared so generously.

Funeral Services:

In accordance with Islamic tradition, Sameer was laid to rest on November 9, 2024, surrounded by family and close friends who honored his life and legacy with the Janazah prayer. His family extends their deepest gratitude to everyone who offered support, condolences, and prayers during this time.

In tribute to Sameer’s memory, the family kindly requests that those who wish to honor him consider offering Sadaqah (charitable giving) to benefit those in need, reflecting his lifelong generosity and compassion.
