Samantha Brittany May Olsen
May 14th 1994 - November 14th 2023
It is with great sadness that the Olsen family announces the unexpected passing of Samantha Brittany May Olsen of Slave Lake AB at the age of 29.
Samantha was born in Westlock May 14 1994 to parents Trevor and Carrie Olsen. She was raised on a near by farm with her siblings before moving to the town of Slave Lake at the age of four. Samantha spent her younger years laughing and playing with her siblings and cousins going to the beach to find rocks or to swim in the creek. She loved the outdoors and always wanted to go on adventures and explore new things.
Samantha was fearless and courageous. She had an incredibly huge heart brimming with boundless love and compassion, her unwavering thoughtfulness and genuine care for others made her an exceptional soul. Samantha had a unique talent for effortlessly brightening up any room with her infectious laughter and impeccable sense of humor. She possessed an extraordinary ability to find humor and joy in life's simplest pleasures, reminding us all to take a step back and savor each precious moment.
Samantha lived life on her terms, embracing a carefree nature that allowed her to truly live in the moment. She cherished her family, and the bonds that held them together. Her love for her family was immeasurable, especially her love for her younger sister Brianna, she cherished and always protected her as she was her best friend growing up.
Samantha's passing leaves a void in the lives of her beloved father Trevor, mother Carrie, sisters Amber, Nichole, Sarah, and Brianna. Grandparents Darlene, Gordon, Norman and Christine. And her nieces, Morgan, Danica and her nephew Jaxson.
Although Samantha was taken from us far too soon, we find comfort knowing that she is watching over us all and she will be waiting for us on the other side. Her spirit will live on eternally through her family and friends and the ever lasting imprint she left in all of our hearts.
Rest peacefully beautiful Samantha you will forever shine as the brightest diamond in the sky, we all love you to the moon and back forever and always until we meet again.
There will be a celebration of life for Samantha at the Hazel Bluff Community Hall on her birthday May 14 2024 @ 12:00 pm
