Samantha's obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the untimely passing of Samantha Lindsell on December 12, 2024. Born on July 1, 1976, Samantha was a vivacious, curious, and unpredictable woman whose spirit and zest for life touched everyone she met. Samantha leaves behind a void that cannot be filled.
Samantha was a loving mother, devoted daughter, doting grandmother, and a caring sister. She leaves behind her daughter, Meranda Lindsell; and her grandson Roman. Sons Justin Lindsell and Ryan Chenevare. Samantha was a beloved sister to Kimberly Gotham and Albert Lindsell Jr.
She is also survived by her father, Albert Lindsell Sr., and her nieces and nephews: Andrew Sparks, Madison Barbee and Aaron McCloud. And her precious pups, Nelly and Dahlia. Also her spiritual new husband Jeff Adams. Samantha is predeceased by her mother, Ruth Lindsell, and her niece, Amanda Barbee.
Samantha loved to travel. Exploring new places brought her so much joy. Even if it was just a nice hike through the nearby woods. And capturing and studying the bugs around her. She was fascinated with nature. Loved fishing. And don’t you dare litter! She also had an avid gamer side. Dandy Coolmoon anyone!? That’s our girl! She got things done, and loved delicious foods. Her life was full of challenges most couldn’t imagine. Her untimely departure reminds us all that life can be fleeting and unpredictable.
Samantha's loss is deeply felt by all who had the chance to know her. Her soul will forever be missed. She had more to accomplish, more to give, but the support she needed was simply not there. We take comfort in remembering Samantha for the loving and vivacious woman that she was.
A funeral service for Samantha will be held on December 20, 2024, at ? in Kingsport. Sorry a time can’t be given just yet. But really feel like a real obituary needs to happen too. So this is it. We invite all who knew and loved Samantha to join us in celebrating her life and bidding her a heartfelt farewell.
To the world, Samantha Lindsell may have been one person, but to the people who loved her, she was the world. Samantha, your vibrant spirit will continue to live on in our hearts. Rest in paradise Sammy Pooh. We love you.
