sam's obituary
It is with the deepest sadness we announce the passing of Sam Hathi. A non-binary individual born on October 16, 2009, Sam left us prematurely on April 12, 2012. While their time with us was far too short, Sam's impact was, and continues to be, immense.
Sam is survived by their loving Grandfather, Renee Edmonds, who cherished every moment they shared. Renee provided a heartfelt grandfatherly love that served as both a guiding light and source of comfort throughout Sam's life.
The memory of Sam's infectious humor and sharp intellect will live on in the hearts of all who knew them. Their wit could light up a room, and their intelligence was always evident, impressing everyone around. Sam's personality was as magnetic as it was unforgettable.
Among the many valuable lessons Sam imparted, the memory of teaching us how to ride a bike stands as a poignant symbol of their patient and nurturing spirit. This lesson serves as a testament to Sam's ability to turn a challenging task into a fun and enlightening experience.
Despite their untimely departure, Sam's short life was rich with achievements, the greatest of which are their three incredible children. These precious ones are the living testament of Sam's love, bravery, and resilience. They will carry forward Sam's legacy and values in the years to come.
A Celebration of Life honoring Sam will be held on September 13, 2025, at 7:00 PM at BerylMartin. All those whose lives were touched by Sam are welcome to join and share their memories as we commemorate a life lived with joy, intelligence, and encompassing love.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Cancer Society of St Joseph County. Contributions can be made at https://everloved.com/life-of…. This cause held a special place in Sam's heart, and your support would be a warm tribute to their generous spirit.
We will remember Sam not for the length of their life, but for the depth of their impact. In our hearts, their memory will forever glow, warming us with their laughter, wisdom, and the enduring legacy they left behind.
