Background

Sam Culotta was deeply involved with the Deepwood Organization. His son Christopher is developmentally disabled and has been in the Deepwood system since he was 18 months old. Christopher graduated from Broadmoor School at age 22. He is currently attending programs at the Habitation group at the VGC facility in Mentor. Christopher resides at a group home in Mentor with 6 other male residents.
Sam volunteered for many events at Deepwood to benefit those with specials needs. To name a few he assisted at the basketball games at Broadmoor School and he also volunteered and ice skated with his son and other disabled individuals at the special skates at the Mentor Civic Center. He loved helping those who needed help. Christopher loved to skate and play hockey.
Sam’s son, Christopher, has and is receiving financial assistance from the Deepwood Foundation to attend a special music program. The Foundation has also helped Christopher in other activities when funds were required.
A donation to honor Sam Culotta’s memory to the Deepwood Foundation will help to provide Deepwood Foundation’s mission to enrich the quality of lives and brighter futures for those with development disabilities. You can mail a check to Deepwood Foundation, 8121 Deepwood Blvd., Mentor, OH 44060 or donate on line at https:// www.deepwoodfoundation.org/take-action.
Thank you so much.
