Aunt Sally may be gone but she will never be forgotten. She had a heart made of gold, and loved her family very dearly. My favorite memory is when she came over my house for Thanksgiving Day in 2014. My mother (Mary Ann) made a horribly dry turkey that year (accidentally, of course), and Aunt Sally had genuinely claimed that my mother's cooking was the best Thanksgiving Dinner she had ever had. She sang 'Moja droga, ja cię kocham" for my cousins and I with a big smile. Aunt Sally was not just your typical Aunt Sally, she was quite a gem, very unique and beautiful in every way.
