Sally Rose Mesh passed away peacefully in her sleep in the evening of 7/8/21 in her home in Stamford, CT after fighting several conditions over a number of years. She was born Sally Rose Cohen in Brooklyn in 1934 to Harry and Nancy Cohen, first generation Americans. After attending Hunter High School and receiving academic honors she attended her local high school. She then went on the study Education and then Nursing, becoming certified as a Licensed Practical Nurse. She married Stanley Mesh in 1956 and had four children Scott, Steve, Leigh and Cynthia. She spent 49 years living in Rye Brook until Stanleys death in 2010 and then moved to Stamford, CT. After spending many years raising her children she took part time jobs, then worked full time at the new Blind Brook High School's library. This period was one of her most memorable as she connected with many high school students and was happy to have been a caring adult in their lives. She then worked as an Executive Secretary at IBM before retiring in 1989. She was very proud to have earned a Bachelors Degree from SUNY Purchase while raising 4 children. Among her many adventures was her trip with Stan to Khasakstan in 1994. She chronicled her adventures and her emails home to her children in a book and shared her slide show with many retiree communities and synagogues. She is survived by her 4 children and 7 grandchildren.
