Sally led a week-long Sharon FCC church mission trip to New Orleans in April 2010, five years after the levees failed in the aftermath of Katrina.   A few of us FCC adults with maybe six teens were assigned to repair one of the houses damaged in the flood.  With a red bandana tied around her head, Sally swung a mean pick axe, day after day throughout that week.  Sally knew her way around a sledge hammer too. When each work day was done, she was as dirty and tired and proud as we all were.  She was our favorite.
